In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The opening bars of Beethoven's 5th symphony was the first piece of music that made me sit up & listen. I didn't know why at the time. The emotion perhaps? The anger, the passion, the strings bounding out of the speakers like a fiery dragon's mouth. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A.C. Newman, The Slow Wonder Cardiacs, On Land and In the Sea Roland Kirk, We Free Kings I don't know how anyone can pick their 3 favourite albums when there is so much to experience. But these 3 are the yard sticks I use to plot my progress and often beat myself with. Sonically, musically and emotionally these records are my guide.
