About Big Bad Bobby and the Shoe Horns
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I went to a Battle of the Bands in high school and saw a bunch of kids I knew playing music. I immediately went "I need to join a band right now" and Big Bad Bobby formed shortly afterward. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Green Day, Nimrod Jimmy Eat World, Bleed American Weezer, Weezer Favorites change, but these are definitely 3 albums that shaped our sound. Nimrod is varied and changes genre often. The Blue Album is the starting point for our arrangements. People say we sound like Jimmy Eat World, which is always a compliment. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Celestial Love Play” This is one of our oldest songs we still play, but it still gets as strong a reaction as ever. That's always a nice thing to see at a live show. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We've gotten to play shows at some legendary venues around the Boston area like Axis, The Middle East, Sonia, and the Paradise. It's always cool playing somewhere you've previously seen your favorite bands play. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to go on tour. We're pretty local to the Boston area, but the mystique of a tour is just something so appealing.
