Weave

Formed between high school friends Luise (bass) and Kristy Wilson (vocals/ guitar) started The Dischords/ Sunbeams (a name which they could never agree upon) in 1995 before hooking up with guitarist Wes Davidson and drummer David Pincott to form Weave. After a few empty and humiliating gigs around their Lismore, Australia area, this eventually lead to at two hiatus before the band could build their confidence back up. In 1998 with Chris Roston filling in on drums, Weave found themselves pulling their out their best power pop ditties to record the Plunge EP. ~ Mike DaRonco
