Ali Farka Touré, Talking Timbuktu (with Ry Cooder) Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin III (Remastered) Neil Young, Harvest These records represent three sides of my personality and have been influential on me as a musician. Led Zep inspired me to learn the guitar, Neil inspired me to be a singer songwriter and Ali Farka Toure' always inspires my musical imagination. Tell us why you chose this song. “Troubadour 21st Century” When I wrote this I thought, wouldn't be funny if a folk singer wrote a boastful self empowering song like a hip hop artist might. I didn't think I would record it, I just wrote it to amuse myself. It is now one of my favorites play and perform.
