SMIB

Far beyond music, SMIB is a Dutch collective that created its own ecosystem in 2014, encompassing literature, arts, fashion, and lifestyle, with a strong identity linked to Amsterdam's urban culture. Created by a group of hip-hop-loving childhood friends in Bijlmer, the collective embraced each other's creative ambitions by organizing independent events, parties, and festivals where they could showcase their talents and build a scene of their own. The collective released their first EP, Bakuhatsu, in 2016, followed by the 2018 album SMIB TAPE, in which they consolidated their experimental aesthetic within contemporary Dutch rap. They returned in 2025 with the album EENDRAGHT MAECKT MAGHT, and in 2026 they released the single "VAN PC TOT BE."
