About Pabllo Vittar
Pabllo Vittar—born Phabullo Rodrigues da Silva in Maranhão, Brazil—is a superstar, drag queen, singer-songwriter, and dauntless advocate for LGBTQ rights. There’s a touch of camp in her act—she broke out with a version of Major Lazer’s “Lean On” titled “Open Bar”—but it’s the finest kind. Her gift is taking drag, Brazilian pop culture, and technobrega (Portuguese covers of English songs with little lyrical connection to the original) to new places. Highlights of her storied career include the 2017 collaboration “Sua Cara” with Major Lazer and Anitta, becoming the first drag queen to ever perform at Coachella in 2022, appearing on stage with Madonna at the Material Girl’s Copacabana show in 2024, and returning to the Copacabana beach in 2025 to open for Lady Gaga. Whether on singles or full-length albums (with several under her belt), Vittar performs with a spine-tingling countertenor, bops for days, and the ability to seemingly leave her whole heart in every song.
