Ora the Molecule

The project of singer, songwriter, DJ, and producer Nora Schjelderup, Ora the Molecule balances heartfelt songwriting with imaginative art-pop, Italo-disco, and vintage electronics. On 2021's Human Safari, the avant-pop project's wonder-filled, keenly observed, yet danceable songs upheld the traditions of Cocteau Twins, Fleetwood Mac, and Kraftwerk. After becoming Norway's queen of disco thanks to her inspiring DJ sets, Schjelderup transformed Ora the Molecule's music with 2025's Dance Therapy, an album that spanned emotional highs and lows without missing a beat.
