In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. On of my big turning-point moments was seeing His Hero Is Gone in the mid-nineties. They made me remember the importance of long and loud notes. I never forgot! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Miho Hatori, Between Isekai and Slice of Life The Red Birds, The Red Birds Concert A Million People It is hard to pin down three all-time albums, but I have been listening to these a lot lately. Mostly for the way the music feels. It is up-beat and doesn't always make sense. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “And Weird Fiction - Ihcilon at Two Rivers Bookstore” This is an artifact of a show that I did in 2018. It was a small book shop and about 20 people packed in to a very low-volume set. My improvisations really landed well and I got a very positive response. It made my view as a musician solid. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Any time that I am fortunate enough to get out and play with other artists or collaborate holds a strong memory. One of my best experiences was being able to perform with Annabelle Playe. Another one was sharing a bill with Matmos. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is always something new to strive for and new goals to set. The bucket list will never be finished!
