In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of the first shows we ever played was a house party in Allston, MA. It was debauchery at its finest, ecstatic and depraved. Sweat, dancing, endless jams, beer cans flying through the air, people laying across the amps and keyboards. Beautiful. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Can, Tago Mago Kikagaku Moyo, House in the Tall Grass Shuggie Otis, Inspiration Information / Wings of Love I tried to pick albums that are foundational to our group as a whole. These are three albums that were on constant rotation in the van and this was the music that inspired us to go into the studio. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Peachy” Peachy was a game changer for us. I remember when we started tinkering with this song in the studio - building it from a simple drum machine loop into lush horn arrangements, we really crafted this one as a group. It sounds like the soul of the band. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing a giant festival in Golden Gate Park called Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. We felt like we were following in the footsteps of legends taking the stage in that legendary park with all of its psychedelic music history. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? You could say "oops! all bucket list!" in response here. There's so many things we want to do, collaborate with people that inspire us, give back to our community, play on legendary radio shows. KEXP? Tiny Desk? Lots of dreams here
