In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a kid, I would write little songs about everything—the juice I was drinking, my brother, wanting to be a pop star. I remember writing a song about being cheated on even though I was only 6 y.o. and had never had a boyfriend. I still remember it! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kacey Musgraves, Golden Hour Lorde, Melodrama Taylor Swift, Red What I love about all 3 of these albums are the incredibly detailed lyrics that set the scene. They're all very honest and create intricate worlds with beautiful sonics, leaving the listener in a certain mood beyond album's end. A+ records to me! I often find myself falling trap to striving for some ever-moving target. There's always something more—to do, to be, to know—but lately I'm exploring the idea that there's got to be something more. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was lucky enough to attend the 2020 Grammy Awards. It was incredibly special to be in the same room with so many artists, songwriters, producers, and creators I admire. We danced the night away dressed to the nines. It felt like adult prom! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are so many things left on my bucket list as an artist. One being that I would love to go on a world tour and visit all of my amazing Karakeets in person, while hanging with my amazing band and putting on a spectacle of a show. Come?
