Electronic music duo BEAUZ—brothers Bernie and Johan Yang—emphasize hard techno to galvanize their fans. Between remixes, collabs, and their own original tracks—like 2024’s “Lick It”—their high energy drives everyone from the festival stages and the dance floors. In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We went to our first raves in 2012 and were immediately hooked by the allure of dance music and its culture. We started out making music together and experimented with multiple genres over the years, eventually breaking through with hard techno. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. “Lick It” We self-released this hard techno banger without any label support or collaborators and it became our top song on streaming platforms, which cemented our ambition to build our legacy within the realm of hard techno. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Sometimes we don’t realize how far we’ve come, but we’ve played all the major venues and festivals across the world we dreamt of playing. We are doing what we love as a living, and our passion for music only intensifies by the days. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist? Playing the top festivals such as EDC, Tomorrowland, Coachella, UMF are still on the top of the list. But at the same time we would also love to seek a fine work-life balance to spend valuable time with our loved ones.
