About Norbel
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I began in the Caguas Children’s Choir, later studying guitar and singing with the Escuela Libre de Música de Caguas. I attended Berklee camps in production and vocals, and was also part of the Mare Mia choir at Notre Dame High School. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alexis y Fido, Perreología Noriel, Trap Capos, Trap Capos: Season 1 Nova y Jory, Mucha Calidad These albums shaped my musical taste and inspired my Reggaeton and Latin Trap. I was 14 when Mucha Calidad dropped and started recording at home. Perreología pushed my urban side, and Trap Capos hit during college, right as Latin Trap exploded. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Facil” I love Facil (Easy) because it's my most accepted large feature, including J Sanchez, Norgen Baros, and Martin Prada. Also, the theme of the song and storytelling is what I connect with. How easy it is for women to have relationships with men. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A highlight of my career was performing at the now-closed Treehouse in Calle Loíza. That night, I sang En Serio, TikTok with Umpierre, and La Llorona. The energy was unforgettable, and I’d relive that moment in a heartbeat. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d love to sign with a label. Being independent makes growing as an artist tough, though the way labels mishandle careers does scare me. I only hope for a fair deal that lets my music evolve. Even my close fans ask why I’m not signed yet.
