Tide Lines

Known for their impassioned lyrics and a sound that fuses the melodies of traditional folk with sleek, modern production and electronica, Tide Lines are a neo-folk pop/rock quartet from Scotland. The group's performances incorporate the acoustic guitars, accordions, and pipes and whistles integral to Scottish music, but with a modern touch informed by contemporary pop (incorporating drums, electric guitars, and keyboards), without robbing the tunes of their atmosphere and sense of mystery. The group introduced their fusion of old and new sounds on their debut album, 2017's Dreams We Never Lost, while they explored more ambitious production techniques on 2020's Eye of the Storm.
