In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. After a early career in musical theatre playing leading roles in award-winning productions in Canada and across Europe and recording for Disney Records, EMI Broadway Angel, and Trema record labels, I reoriented my focus to songwriting. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Carole King, Tapestry Joni Mitchell, Mingus Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life These three albums are, for me, emblematic of the courage to create, and mastery in lyric writing, composition and musicianship. Tell us why you chose this song. “April Snow” I wrote this song to capture the ephemeral nature of the things we love and treasure but sometimes take for granted. It's a song about gratitude and the transient nature of all things. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first recording of original songs SHAPE LINE AND HARMONY was named “Among the year’s best new releases” by CBC Radio One. My second album, April Snow, reached #2 in the Top 100 iTunes Adult Contemporary Chart in Canada. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes! To continue making music and write about the things that move and inspire me.
