Franz Halász

Guitarist Franz Halász stands at the forefront of the current guitar recitalist scene. Halász has also long been one of Germany's most influential guitar educators. He has a substantial recording catalog, as a soloist and with his wife, Debora Halász, as the Halász Duo. He issued a guitar version of Bach's Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin, BWV 1001-1006, in 2024 and Villa-Lobos: The Complete Solo Works in 2025.
