About Devon Gilfillian
Devon Gilfillian is a soulful singer/songwriter with a genre-encompassing vibe that touches on warm R&B, gritty blues, and bits of hip-hop and rock heft. He rose quickly through Nashville's ranks as a live performer, and his self-released 2016 EP earned him a major-label deal. After several international tours, he debuted with 2020's vivid, genre-blending Black Hole Rainbow. That same year, he delivered a song-by-song cover of Marvin Gaye's What's Going On to support local charities, then set about making his follow-up album. Switching from Capitol to Fantasy Records, Gilfillian doubled down on both his swagger and positive social commentary for 2023's Love You Anyway. Time Will Tell, cut live to tape and released in 2026, added country-soul, psychedelic rock, and funk influences to the mix.
