About DE'WAYNE

Houston-born, Los Angeles-based De'Wayne approaches his funk-inflected rock music without boundaries, incorporating elements of everything from '90s R&B to early-aughts pop-punk. He grew progressively more stylistically bold as he moved from the melodic rap of early singles to collaborations with Good Charlotte and I Don't Know How But They Found Me on his 2022 full-length My Favorite Blue Jeans. His 2024 EP, I Want You More Than Anybody Wants You, explored melodic alt rock and indie rock moods.
