In the artist’s words: What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? David Bowie, Blackstar PJ Harvey, To Bring You My Love Portishead, Dummy Blackstar, an extraordinary fusion of rock, jazz and experimentation; pure perfection. Tell us why you chose this song. “Creation Of Poison” Not only is it the first song I wrote on the beautiful guitar Jack White gave me, it's also the first where I truly felt confident as a producer. It's vulnerable, dark and sexy, and I genuinely wouldn't change a thing about it. Riffs and howls! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I'd have to choose opening for Television, one of Tom Verlaine's final shows. Marquee Moon is one of my favourite songs. I got the call in Australia, flew to Toronto, lost my guitar, spent my guarantee on Television merch, and never regretted it. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are still SO many dreams left to chase. I want to keep touring, create with artists I admire like Anna Calvi, Angel Olsen and Nick Cave, publish a photography book, make music forever as a writer and producer, and score films.
