The Band CAMINO is an alternative act from Memphis, known for heartfelt lyrics and electro rock. ∙ They said they chose their name from the Spanish word for “path,” while also inspired by the Chevy El Camino. ∙ The band got a boost in 2018 from Taylor Swift, who included their track “Berenstein” on her “Songs Taylor Loves” playlist. ∙ In 2019, their single “Daphne Blue” attracted enough buzz to get them signed to a major label. ∙ Their 2019 album, tryhard, debuted in the Top 20 of the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
