La Decima Banda

As a dyed-in-the-wool regional Mexican outfit from Culiacán, Sinaloa, La Décima Banda boast a lineup of more than 15 musicians, with at least half of them part of a massive horn section featuring multiple trumpets, clarinets, trombones, and tuba. Active since the mid-2010s, the group specializes in the corrido genre, but its repertoire -- comprising originals and cover versions -- easily accommodates other styles such as cumbia and ballads.
