About Kerson Leong

Violinist Kerson Leong continued his education even as he launched an international career. He is also in demand for master classes. Leong made his recording debut in 2016 with the album Bis, backed by pianist Philip Chiu. In 2016, he premiered John Rutter's Visions for violin, chorus, and orchestra with Rutter's Aurora Orchestra, and he subsequently recorded the work under Rutter's direction. Leong released an album of Eugène Ysaÿe's difficult Six Sonatas for solo violin in 2021. He returned in 2023 with the Philharmonia Orchestra under Patrick Hahn in a recording of violin concertos by Britten and Bruch.
