In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first performance on guitar was a recital, just noodling over the classic "Johnny B. Goode" and I remember asking my teacher what to do if I messed up. He said that's rock and roll, and I took his words way too seriously. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Between the Buried and Me, Coma Ecliptic Dream Theater, Metropolis, Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory Van Halen, Fair Warning I love how over time the guitar and in general rock has been used to tell stories, set scenery, all while just being energetic and dazzling. Listening start-to-finish through prog and even hard rock takes just motivates me to try new musical ideas.
