Jheral

Jheral is the stage name of Jesús Alberto Hernández Bonfante, a Colombian Afrobeat singer, songwriter, and producer. Around 2012 he began to work as a producer and songwriter for other artists, simultaneously developing his own fusion of African, Latin, and pop elements. Toward the end of the decade, Jheral started releasing his first singles and EPs, but broader recognition came only in 2024 with the EP Complex. Having been able to join the then-booming Colombian Afrobeat scene, Jheral sought to secure his position with further releases such as EXO2 EP (2024), which featured "Morbo," and the 2025 Barboza-assisted hit single "Tus Labios," gaining his first taste of international exposure in the process. Yet another EP, La Joya Del Caribe, appeared in April 2026.
