In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Some of my earliest musical memories are of the Sega genesis. From a young age I was being inundated with those sharp, snappy synth tones from Sonic, X-Men, and Streets of Rage. These sounds absolutely contributed to the musical bedrock of my tastes. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Failure, Fantastic Planet Mobb Deep, The Infamous Mobb Deep Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life SITKOL - So many emotional twists & turns. Taught me genres don’t matter. FP - Expanded my musical palette. Informed my understanding of production. TIMD - The harrowing vibe throughout is dense & foreboding. It still has me entranced to this day. Tell us why you chose this song. “Curfews” I made this song with so many awesome elements and pieces of equipment: the Moog DFAM, my MPC 500 and more. But my favorite element of it is the vibe that it exudes. The lush, thick bass and chirping guitars symbolize my love of love itself.
