Vansire

Vansire's dreamy indie pop balances the hooky and the hypnotic. The Minnesota duo launched the project in 2015 and delivered their first album, Reflections and Reveries, in 2016. While that album was steeped in reverb, shimmery synths, and bouncy, Smiths-era guitar rhythms, their third LP, 2022's 19-track The Modern Western World, reflected a peaceful shift toward more lyrics-forward songcraft and soothing, familiarly echoey atmospheres. It featured several collaborations, and was followed by singles including 2024's "Years Roll By" (with MUNYA and Jordann) and the next year's "Means So Much" (with Orchid Mantis).
