Alabama Shakes, Boys & Girls (Deluxe Edition) Erykah Badu, Mama's Gun Tess Parks & Anton Newcombe, Tess Parks & Anton Newcombe The sounds are so fresh and fuzzed. Tess' writing style is poetic & mysterious. Badu's vocals blow my mind. Brittany Howard's voice was a revelation for me. I love the warm, diy sound of this record, and the earnest longing and love in her lyrics. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to perform with Joss Stone. Love her.
