Brazilian funk star MC Don Juan emerged from São Paulo's vibrant baile funk scene, beginning his career as a child and achieving national fame as a teenager. Born Matheus Wallace Mendonça da Cruz, he broke through with hits like "Me Amarro Na Noite" and "Oh Novinha," the latter featured in the telenovela A Força do Querer. Known for blending romantic songs, proibidão funk, rap, and sertanejo influences, he released the albums Nóis Tá Alto (Acústico) (2019) and Nem Aí Pra Nada (2025), while continuing to score hits with a steady stream of successful singles.
