With his fourth album, Bryan Adams did what all cleanup hitters should do: knock out a grand slam. Reckless is so overstuffed with classic-rock-radio perennials, it practically qualifies as a greatest-hits collection. Arena-ready anthems like “Summer of ’69” and “Somebody” stayed true to Adams’ rocker roots, but the simmering intensity of “Run to You,” the lighter-sparking “Heaven,” and the soul-powered Tina Turner duet “It’s Only Love” revealed a greater depth to his denim-and-leather image.
