Since dropping The X Tape in 2023, Babyfxce E has been untouchable: He’s made several lists that showcase the hottest new rappers to watch, toured with fellow Michigan rap kings Babyface Ray and BabyTron, and landed a deal with Atlantic Records. It makes sense that he’d revive the energy of his breakthrough mixtape three years later, and his winning, Flint-centric formula is still intact—an off-center delivery of raps that oscillate between gutter and absurd. He lets loose a barrage of clever punchlines on “Fully Loaded,” trades boasts with BabyDrill on the rumbling “Wilt,” and compares a murder scene to a childbirth on “Fake Don.” When he’s scattering flows for 24 straight bars on “Never Ending Run,” the title isn’t just a boast, it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy.
