You can’t say Rashmeet Kaur doesn’t have range. The singer-songwriter’s previous album, 2024’s KAURA (Aura Of Kaur), was a hip-hop–centric effort. In contrast, 2026’s PARINDA is infused with R&B, jazz, electronic music, rock and the Punjabi folk she’s modernised over the course of her career. There’s everything from Jersey club (“Kaise Kahoon”) to jhoomar (“Sahiba”) on the LP, whose narrative arc moves from a longing for love to a powerful declaration of self-discovery on the closing title track. Experimental in sound and universal in theme, it’s another feather in Kaur’s resplendent crown.
