There’s an inherent, palpable infectiousness and playfulness to West Memphis rapper Fox BD’s delivery. On his 2026 project, Finessin Distribution Deals, he takes an inside-baseball music industry reference (the ins and outs of music distribution) and turns it into a swirling, chaotic, and joyful showcase of his personality. The co-signs are plentiful, as Lil Yachty, Sexyy Red, Babyface Ray, and YTB Fatt come through for guest verses. Fox is at his strongest, though, when he centers his over-the-top persona. Take “Keyboard Gangstas,” which finds him pushing back against online trolls. He explains his dedication to rap by deadpanning, “I’m too locked in, I only have sex one time a week, I’m not horny.” Elsewhere, on the 2000s ATL-inspired “Baffled,” he expects his guests to show proper respect when they visit his home. “You see this $5,000 carpet, take your shoes off at the door,” he demands. Favorite moment: Fox BD’s ferocious delivery putting a supercharge into Lil Yachty on “Seals Dekline.”
