N0rth4evr - EP

Having appeared in her first music video at the tender age of one, North West’s own career in music was probably inevitable. The 12-year-old daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian has spent the past few years honing her rap skills and production chops, including a verse in Japanese on ¥$’s album Vultures 2, a feature on FKA twigs’ 2025 album EUSEXUA, and beats for rappers like skaiwater, Mag!c, and Lil Novi. On her debut EP, N0rth4evr, blistering rage-rap meets goth-rock with a sprinkle of Harajuku street style and lyrics that vault from impish flexes to next-level teenage angst. “How am I younger than you?/I’m who you look up to!” she singsongs on “D!e” over a shuddering rage beat, dripped in Chrome Hearts and Rick Owens. Later, on the kawaii trap-metal ripper “W0ah,” she offers up a truth that’s unexpectedly poignant: “I was born a star,” she raps. “I never had a choice.”
