Love Is Kind - EP

The electronic duo and Swedish singer reunite for a euphoric five-track set. On their second full-length album Sick Boy, The Chainsmokers featured Winona Oak on the tropical house cut “Hope.” Almost eight years later, the electronic duo lets loose again with the Swedish singer—now under the name of Oaks—for the EP Love Is Kind. A slight sonic departure from their first collab, the energetic and euphoric five-track set captures the first rush of feelings that lead to romantic realizations. And, of course, there’s a little bit of vehicular kink for old times’ sake: “The bars are empty/And I pass you my key/Where we going now?/My backseat/Got the tint that we need/As we blast the AC/Let me lay you down,” Oaks sings on the dreamy “Five Past Three.”
