Horror comedy Bhooth Bangla marks the reunion of director Priyadarshan and actor Akshay Kumar after Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Though the 2026 film is not a sequel, its title track is (ahem) a spiritual successor to the 2007 hit. Like its predecessor, the deity-invoking ditty’s insistent beat and humorous Hinglish lyrics should make listeners dance and laugh out loud. This lightness runs throughout the easygoing soundtrack, which incorporates assorted Indian classical elements such as the ad-libs on “Tu Hi Disda”, plus the instrumentation and inflections on “O Sundari” and “O Ri O Sanwariya”.
