Roofless Records For Drop Tops: Disc 1

Two stoners walk into a recording studio. That’s not a setup for a joke, it’s what actually happened when two of rap’s most beloved potheads, Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y, united for 2026’s Roofless Records for Drop Tops: Disc 1. Throughout, the two MCs—who have spent years penning odes to good weed, beautiful women, and incredibly fast cars—find the exact midpoint of their similar yet distinct styles, trading bars with a joie de vivre that each has honored throughout their careers. “Jet Life Taylor,” which references Curren$y’s Jet Life Recordings and Wiz’s Taylor Gang, features the latter kicking things off: “If you clean up my room, you’ll find some bomb weed you know I grew,” he raps. During his verse, Spitta Andretti adds: “Light something strong, lights out, I’m gone.” Elsewhere, on “How Could I Lose,” the duo sketch out a philosophy of sorts, with Wiz rapping on the chorus: “They say we run the game, we probably do/So many wins/How could I lose?”
