Paradise

Paradise

A globe-trotting affair pays homage to his native and adopted homelands. Thaiboy Digital was born in Khon Kaen, Thailand, but began calling Stockholm, Sweden, home when he was eight years old. Now, he resides in Bangkok, and musically, he fuses the roots of his home country with the sounds of his adopted home. On his 2026 album, Paradise, released via Diplo’s Mad Decent, he concocts a globe-trotting affair built around synths that hit like they were pulled from a movie theater’s surround-sound system and Auto-Tune vocals that are as thick as the humidity in his home city. Thaiboy Digital also pays homage to a pervasive Swedish influence throughout, working exclusively on the album with production crew swedm®. The group’s stated goal is to keep the “Swedish EDM legacy alive,” which they certainly do on the trance-inspired, Bladee-featuring dance cut “Solitary.” Digital and swedm® give way to straightforward techno hedonism, cooking up pulse-raising synths and hardcore drums on the Berghain-ready epic “Surrendering to the Rhythm.”
