Wiz’s third release of 2026, following Khaotic and the Moses the Black Soundtrack, falls in line with many of his most celebrated releases in that the Pittsburgh-raised spitter devotes his attention to weed, women, and the finer things in life. Perhaps it’s because Wiz spent much of 2025 promoting the 15th anniversary of his classic release Kush & Orange Juice that he sounds in vintage form on Girls Love Horses. “On Your Mind” is built around a warped funk beat that sounds like it was rescued from an abandoned chillwave hard drive. On the charming “Right One,” Wiz rolls out a beat that hearkens back to the blog-era cloud rap of the mid-2000s, waxing poetically about looking for the right girl. “I like one that’ll come through, roll one and light,” he raps, proving that some things never change.
