F.I.L.A 25 (Forever I Love Atlanta)

Few producers have played as important a role in the development of modern Atlanta rap as TM88. The beatmaker is one third of 808 Mafia alongside Southside and Lex Luger, and both with the crew and on his own he has helped shape the sound of boundary-pushing artists like Future, Young Thug, Lil Yachty, and plenty of others. On his 2025 opus F.I.L.A 25 (Forever I Love Atlanta), the musician born Bryan Simmons recruits friends from near and far to say thanks to his adopted hometown’s one-of-a-kind style. He pays tribute to sounds and people alike, like on “Juiceman,” in which he recruits ATL legend OJ da Juiceman to dance around a mid-2000s-inspired beat built for low riders and strip clubs. On “Quadruple,” which finds TM88 reuniting with Future, the producer turns up the low end and allows the iconic warbler to float over a minimal beat. By working with artists across the rap landscape, TM88 shows just how far his sound reaches.
