The third and final part of Annisokay’s Abyss trilogy is a sprawling full-length that completes the storyline the German metalcore movers began on a pair of EPs: 2023’s Abyss Pt I and 2025’s Abyss Pt II. In fact, The Final Chapter includes all 12 tracks from those EPs with three new songs placed strategically in between. The first of these, “Silent Anchor,” pairs gurgling electronics with an anthemic payoff. “Splinters” flutters with dance beats and breathy vocals, while “My Effigy” is by far the most metallic and angsty of the three, riding staccato riffs into a soaring chorus. As the connective tissue between the two EPs, the songs deftly bridge the gap between Pt I closer “Time” and Pt II opener “Get Your Shit Together.”
