“Looking back, August was unforgettable—from playing [UNVRS] in Ibiza to showcasing my brand-new AURA concept in Belgium for the first time at Pukkelpop,” says Amelie Lens of her last weeks of summer 2025. “For this Apple Music mix, I’ve selected some of the key moments from those sets, together with a few fresh discoveries I can’t stop playing.” With Europe’s closing parties on the horizon, the Belgian DJ keeps the tempo high. “We go straight in at full energy,” she says. “Sinistermind from Colombia opens with tough, hypnotic grooves that lock you in from the start. I’ve also included a track from a new artist named Kashpitzky—his debut EP just dropped and all four tracks carry this raw, relentless drive. It’s crazy to believe it’s only his first release. Another highlight is SWART’s ‘Let Me Go.’ It has this really great rave-inspired vocal I love—this one works so well for me.” And it all ends in suitably uplifting fashion. “The final stretch of the mix leans into big-room energy,” says Lens. “Marie Vaunt’s ‘That Acid’ and Vizionn’s ‘Arcane Venoms’ both deliver peak-time intensity, before Milo Ruando’s ‘Trance & Danse’ takes it into a euphoric, old-school Belgian vibe. I close with one of the biggest anthems of the last few months for me: ‘Losing Control’ by KI/KI and Marlon Hoffstadt. This one gets bigger every time I hear it!”
