Echoes In Eternity

Echoes In Eternity

NYC hardcore veterans Agnostic Front pull no punches on Echoes in Eternity. Led by vocalist Roger Miret and guitarist Vinnie Stigma, AF delivers anti-war screeds (“Way of War”), anti-fascist callouts (“Divided”), and callbacks to the days of hardcore matinees at CBGB’s (“Sunday Matinee”). Gang vocals reign supreme on “You Say,” “Shots Fired,” and “Hell to Pay,” while “Tears for Everyone” goes full metal and the short, sharp shock of “Art of Silence” makes its point in under a minute. One of the album’s highlights is “Matter of Life & Death,” a special old-school NYC collaboration in which Miret trades verses with Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of hip-hop pioneers Run-DMC.
