New York-based producer DJ Python has put together a mix that greets you where you are. “I think it can work for both,” he tells Apple Music. “It was made in the middle of a breezy day after a good night of sleep. If I’m putting together a chill set, I try to be fresh.” When it comes to choosing his standout tracks from the dreamy mix, DJ Python has two favorites: “TRISTÁN!’s ‘Life Is a Movie’ because of its pure, unabashed songwriting and Robert Lippok’s ‘I Can Tell,’ because there are not many songs about dog ownership.” DJ Python’s aim is to help you reach the right headspace when you’re in need of a little calm. “It’s a mix to help you relax and inspire reflection and pensiveness,” he says. “Go into your thoughts, of all spectrums, and confront them honestly, and hopefully feel in tune with them.
