“This is one of those mixes where everything just fell into place—a testament to the sheer quality of electronica and breaks music being produced right now,” John Digweed tells Apple Music. “Ida Engberg creates the tone beautifully with ‘Nothing Feels the Same.’ This one is a complete departure from her usual sound, but one that perfectly sets the scene for what follows. “I’ve also featured a track from Ostrich, best known for his work at the legendary Stereo club in Montreal, one of the few places in the world where I get to play 12-hour extended sets. If you’ve never been, add it to your bucket list. Another standout for me this month is from The Hacker’s ‘Turborave,’ a proper Detroit electro-inspired, heads-down club track—one to really get lost in.” And Digweed comes full circle with his final track. “Closing out the mix is the artist I started last month’s mix with—Paul Roux’s ‘Electric Dreams.’ Much like his track ‘Hold On,’ this is a proper end-of-set anthem in the making,” he says.
