Daniel Goldstein, the DJ and producer known as Lane 8, runs his own deep-house label called This Never Happened, where he releases a mix of his own tracks and music from up-and-coming artists. “We have a lot of exciting projects in the works,” he tells Apple Music, “and I enjoyed mixing a few of them into this mixtape. Alongside those tracks, I found a lot of inspiration from artists like Maribou State, OMRI., Jamie xx, and Qrion.
