Bad Newz (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Appropriately, good tunes come in pairs on the soundtrack for this comedy drama about a woman who’s pregnant with twins from different fathers. There’s repetition in the titles of “Tauba Tauba”—Karan Aujla’s irresistible Bollywood debut—and “Raula Raula”—a funky floor filler from the duo Prem Hardeep that recalls their huge hit “Kala Chashma”. On the other hand, love songs “Rabb Warga” and “Haule Haule” are presented in pairs, each getting both an acoustic and uptempo version. For nostalgia lovers, there’s an epic remix of “Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam”, that joyous jam from 1998 film Duplicate.
