Still As You

Still As You

Indian indie quartet Black Letters have evolved their sound with each release. 2014's debut Shapes On the Wall delivered no-frills alt-rock; 2015 EP Petrichor expanded into dream pop. Still As You arrives after a hiatus during which vocalist Sharath Narayan launched an electronic-music career as Cosmic Attic. Narayan’s production growth informs Black Letters’ new album, resulting in their most experimental work to date. The tracks blur the lines between electronica and rock, while on a lyrical level the group explore political concerns (“Landscaper”) and personal conflicts (“Dripping”).
