Wonder Woman (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

The action of Wonder Woman gets extra oomph from British composer Rupert Gregson-Williams’ sweeping, stirring score, which uses tremulous strings and moody textures to chronicle Diana Prince’s journey from everyday woman to superhero. The glossy strings of “Angel On the Wing” open up as Diana grows into her powers; the churning, shape-shifting “No Man’s Land” grinds like the arduous battle in which she tests her mettle against a World War I army. On “To Be Human,” Sia gives a pop spin to Gregson-Williams’ bleak ideas, adding dance floor-worthy stomping and lyrics about pain’s intertwined relationship with love.
