In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Making music intrigued me from a very young age. When I was 13, I started learning how to mix records. At 15 I got a weekly club gig. Before that I would use a dual cassette deck to make remixes by stuttering word or lengthening a break What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Daft Punk, Homework Madvillain, Madvillainy Pink Floyd, The Wall "The wall" the gravitas of the production. the backstory. The vision. "Madvillainy" This album turned hip hop into true art. Free form songs with no chorus or classic song structure. Each track is its own piece of art. "Homework" Daft Punk nuff said! Tell us why you chose this song. “Reach” This song fell together so naturally. the moment I heard Judy Cheek's vocals, the instrumental just flowed out of me. I have this saying I use "Don't be the painter be the brush." Be the conduit for the creation the universe wants to be heard. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing warehouse parties in the early 90's. Playing Burning man in 2001. Placing 3rd on "America's Got Talent" in 2009. Co-writing and performing my own headline show in Las Vegas for 3 years. Touring internationally, Playing in China to 72,000 fans Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Honestly, I've been blessed with a great life. I've done more than most people will ever get to experience. I'm grateful and humbled. I never got into music for the success. it's how I express myself. I make it for me. I'm glad it makes others happy.
