In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I sang in Eisteddfods from the age of 6. I had terrible stage fright and the anticipation of waiting for my grade was awful. I remember my family always used to be there, regardless of what award I received, we always went out afterwards for a treat. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? ABBA, ABBA Gold: Greatest Hits Bee Gees, Spirits Having Flown Jeremy Riddle, Live in the Prayer Room Musical masterpieces with each song showing utter abandon and raw emotion. These albums never fail to put a smile on my face and get me up from my chair. Many of the songs, especially ABBA and the Bee Gees are steeped in nostalgia for me. Tell us why you chose this song. “Same Old Story” This song details a very difficult period of my life where I was battling with an unhealthy relationship. It is special to me because it brought me a lot of closure to that chapter of my life. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There hasn’t a specific moment or event for me. What I always remember are the people and the conversations. I love chatting to people who relate to my lyrics, having conversations about life. Music is a doorway to human connection. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? What I would love to do next is to record a full worship album!
