On “Phusha”, he reveals his dedication to the hustle; on “Qina”, he motivates fellow hustlers to remain strong. “Zabalaza”, meanwhile, finds him relishing the fruits of his perseverance and diligence. Elsewhere on iGagu, the rapper chronicles a love story, which begins with him macking on “Ntokazi” and culminates with promises of marriage on “Qoma Ntombi”, assisted by modern maskandi/soul singer Mnqobi Yazo. Through eloquent Zulu raps, appearances from such like-minded artists as MusiholiQ, Eternal Africa and Lungelo, and the incorporation of maskandi and praise-singing, iGagu bears the stamp of KwaZulu-Natal, the province Dr. Bone calls home.
